A chorus with four modelled bucket-brigade circuits based on classic synth and studio choruses (Dim-D, Synthex, CS-80 and VP-330 ensemble), combined with a true-stereo spatialiser that places the sound left-right and front-back.
It is used on synths, pads and guitars for vintage chorus with detailed control over stereo placement, including a transient threshold that leaves attacks untouched.

What it does
Chor'X combines four vintage bucket-brigade (BBD) chorus models with a True Stereo Dynamic Spatializer.
- Four chorus types: Dim-D, Synthex, CS-80 and VP-330 Ensemble, each with its own BBD and LFO layout.
- Stereo engine: places wet and dry signals across the stereo field and front to back (Mic Angle, Width), with optional chaotic movement.
- Dynamics: an impulse threshold that keeps transients dry, an envelope follower on the amount, and automatic dynamic modulation.
- Workflow: Legacy and Advanced modes, 2D pads, a HISS control for BBD noise, MIDI control and preset management.
When to use it
A characterful vintage chorus for synths and guitars when you want control over where the effect sits in the stereo field. It takes more setup than one-click choruses; for a straight Dimension D sound see Chorus DIMENSION-D, and for deep BBD modulation see Syntorus 2.
