What it does
UltraPitch is a pitch shifter and harmonizer for monophonic sources such as vocals.
- Effects: stereo chorusing, doubling, parallel harmonies, vocal slap and spread effects.
- Formant control: formant shifting to keep the tone of the source natural.
- Stereo: processing options for widening the result.
It's included in the Waves Essential and Waves Ultimate subscriptions.
When to use it
Best for building harmonies, doubles and widened vocals from a single mono take, without needing to know the song's key. For harmonies that follow the key of the track, Waves Harmony (rated) is the closer fit.
