What it does
LoAir is a subharmonic generator that extends the low end of a source.
- Subharmonic generation: works on polyphonic material.
- Controls: adjustable frequency and a low-pass filter for the ultra low end.
- Surround: can create an LFE track from stereo or 5.0 sources.
When to use it
A simple way to add sub weight to kicks, bass and 808s that lack it, or to build a sub layer from a mid-range source. Use it with care on small-speaker translation: subharmonics are felt more than heard, so check on a full-range system.
