Creative effect plugin for transforming sounds into shifting, evolving textures.
Best for: Sound Design, Keys & Synths. Genres: Electronic & EDM, Ambient & Cinematic.
Keywords: creative, sound design, evolving, chorus, flanger, keys, phaser, synths, tremolo.
What it does
Kaleidoscopes is a modulation suite based on analog classics.
- Effects: phasing, flanging, chorus and tremolo.
- Dual Cascade engines: two engines that can be cascaded for layered textures.
- Intelligent triggers: respond to your playing in real time.
When to use it
For moving, evolving modulation on guitars, keys, pads and synths, more elaborate than a single chorus or phaser. It is less specialist than modulation plugins such as Soundtoys PhaseMistress or Eventide TriceraChorus. Suits psychedelic, ambient and electronic sound design.
