What it does
Curves Resolve solves masking between tracks. It listens to one track and processes another, carving space only where they clash.
- Learn modes: Dynamic reacts in real time, DSteady analyses a whole section or song, and DBlend mixes the two.
- Side-chain controls: filter and tilt on the side-chain.
- Snapshots: presets for vocals, guitars, bass and kick.
- Release: launched January 2026; Waves also makes a zero-latency Live version.
When to use it
Use it on a bass, guitar or synth to make room for a vocal or kick without static EQ cuts. It is the third in the Curves series after AQ and Equator. It is newer and has fewer independent reviews.
