What it does
Flite is a multi-sampler and synthesizer from Wavea that mixes sampling with several synthesis types.
- Sound engine: FM, virtual analog and wavetable synthesis, with four multi-samplers.
- Modulation: three LFOs, three assignable envelopes, a modulation matrix and eight macros.
- Sequencing: dual 32-step sequencers.
- Content: a library sampled from classic synths and drum machines, with over 200 presets.
- Processing: five three-band EQs.
When to use it
A good choice if you like building sounds from vintage synth and drum machine samples and then reshaping them with synth-style modulation and sequencing, all in one plugin. It suits electronic music and sound design where playable, evolving patches matter.
