A four-voice chorus inspired by 1980s studio techniques, with extra shimmer (pitched up to two octaves), a reverb-style Space control, delay up to 100 ms and high- and low-pass filters.
It is used for wide, lush chorus on vocals, guitars and synths, with presets grouped by instrument.

What it does
Orchid is W.A. Production's "chorus on steroids": a four-way chorus with shimmer, reverb and delay built in.
- Four-way chorus: quadruples the signal rather than doubling it, inspired by 80s studio techniques.
- Shimmer and Space: adds pitched content up to two octaves above with slow phasing, and reverb on the chorus voices.
- Delay and filters: up to 100 ms of delay, high- and low-pass filters, and a Spread control for width.
- Presets: sorted by guitar, bass, drums, synths and vocals.

When to use it
A quick way to get a big, glossy chorus with shimmer and space in one plugin, suited to pop vocals, clean guitars and synths. It is less of a faithful vintage chorus than the rated emulations; for classic sounds see Chorus JUN-6 or TriceraChorus.
