What it does
Dynawide is a multiband processor built around stereo width, with level, pan, saturation and depth controls in each band. The developer aims for wide, deep results "while maintaining perfect clarity".
- Band level: a fader per band with a range of ±24 dB for tonal balance.
- Width: widens each band while keeping the mid signal, with Width Limit buttons.
- Pan: place each frequency band in the stereo field.
- Heat: harmonic saturation per band.
- Depth: a convolution-based depth enhancement per band.
- Crossovers: adjustable crossover frequencies in linear-phase or analog-type (minimum-phase) mode.

When to use it
Dynawide works more like a multiband enhancer than a plain imager: it widens, pans, saturates and adds depth per band in one step. Compared with Ozone Imager or Waves S1, it offers more ways to colour the sound, but its page lists only a spectrum display and no correlation or vectorscope metering for mono checks. Unlike Polyverse Wider, which is a single width knob, it lets you leave the low end narrow while widening the top. It suits making synths, pads or a full mix sound wider and fuller.
- Best for: widening and lifting synths, pads and mix buses while keeping bass centred.
- Genres: EDM and pop.
- Look elsewhere if: you only want clean width with good mono metering; Ozone Imager or S1 are simpler and show more.
