Asymo Reverb is a spatial reverb where you reshape, rotate and animate the geometry of a virtual room to change how the tail behaves.
An orbit engine keeps the room moving for evolving, shimmering tails, with ducking and a saturating Character control on board. It lists at $49.90 and was on sale for $14.90.
Best for: Vocals, Keys & Synths, Guitars, Sound Design. Genres: Electronic & EDM, Ambient & Cinematic, Pop.
Keywords: room, vocals, ducking, evolving, sound design, electric guitar, synths, wide, A/B compare, cinematic, experimental, mixing, reverse, shimmer, pads, warm.
What it does
Asymo Reverb lets you reshape the walls of a virtual room on screen, then rotate and animate it so the tail moves. The developer's question is: "what if those walls could move?"
- Room geometry: draggable nodes on a geometric display warp the room's boundaries, and Angle rotates the room around its orbit.
- Orbit engine: Orbit Speed sets how fast the room moves, Orbit Range how far it travels (above 100% it rotates a full 360 degrees continuously), and Reverse flips the direction; the modulation is designed to stay pitch- and phase-stable.
- Space and decay: Size, Early (early-reflection balance), Decay and Width from narrow to wide, plus Pre Delay.
- Tone: Damping for high-frequency absorption, Bass and Treble shaping, and Low Cut and High Cut filters.
- Character: emphasizes the asymmetric reflections and adds a little warm saturation.
- Ducking: automatically pulls the reverb down under transients and vocals.
- Workflow: A/B profile slots, a preset manager with factory presets, a PDF manual and a tutorial video.
The current version is 1.0.0, and a trial version is available.

When to use it
Asymo Reverb is the pick when you want a tail that moves and shifts in space rather than a believable room. Compared with Valhalla Supermassive and Blackhole, which also go far beyond real spaces, its angle is hands-on: you draw and animate the room shape instead of choosing algorithms and feedback. It is far less natural than Valhalla Room or VintageVerb, and it has nothing like the modelled hardware character of Seventh Heaven. At its sale price it is cheap, but it is new (version 1.0.0) with no user reviews yet.
- Best for: moving, evolving tails on pads, vocals, synths, guitars and effects, and unusual sound design.
- Genres: electronic, ambient, cinematic and pop.
- Look elsewhere if: you need a convincing real room or a classic hall or plate; Valhalla Room or VintageVerb are more natural, and Supermassive (free) is a strong option for huge washes.
