A sampled Ravenscroft Model 275, a hand-built American concert grand. It has four phase-aligned mic positions, including a room mic, that you can mix freely.
It is known for a clear, detailed tone and good playability, with repetition strikes, half-pedalling, una corda and sostenuto. It runs in the free UVI Workstation and is fairly compact at about 6 GB installed.

What it does
Ravenscroft 275 is VI Labs' sampled version of the Ravenscroft Model 275 grand.
- Mics: four discrete, phase-aligned positions, including a room mic, each with its own on/off and level.
- Playing detail: silent strikes, repetition strikes, sympathetic resonance, una corda, half-pedalling and sostenuto.
- Tone: tone and timbre shift controls, convolution reverb, stereo width and custom tunings.
- Engine: UVI Workstation.
When to use it
