What it does

Valhalla Plate is an algorithmic plate reverb modelled on 1960s-70s steel plate units, with extra modes beyond what real plates could do.

Modes: 12, from Chrome and Steel through to Adamantium, Unobtanium and Lithium, ranging from bright and neutral to dark and dense.
Stereo: Adamantium and later modes are mono-in, stereo-out.
Controls: modulation for lush, synthetic textures.
Info: tooltips explain every control.

When to use it

The go-to plate for vocals and snares. It is dense and warm, with plenty of variation, and is easier to dial in than a room or hall reverb.

Best for: vocals, snares and guitars in any genre.
Look elsewhere if: you need a natural room or hall: try Valhalla Room or FutureVerb.
