What it does
Dual Delay X is a spatial delay that moves echoes around the stereo field using matrix rotation.
- Design: unitary rotation and reflection matrices, as in reverb feedback networks, for stable stereo movement.
- Feedback path: phase modulation, peak, high-cut and low-cut filters, diffusion and dispersion.
- Character: digital grit (downsampling and bit reduction) and tape saturation.
- Workflow: a straightforward interface compared with multitap designs.
When to use it
Pick it for wide, moving stereo echoes with minimal fuss. For per-tap editing, UVI's Relayer offers more control.
