What it does
ModMan is a free modulation plugin that uses Perlin noise to create smooth, organic movement.
- Four destinations: Tape Drift, Saturation, a resonant Lowpass and Amplitude.
- Controls: Speed, Master Speed and Stereo, with multiple noise shapes.
- Price: free with a banner in the interface; a Patreon tier removes it.

When to use it
Useful for adding slow, random-feeling movement to pads, widening a stereo image or faking tape wobble. The noise-based modulation drifts rather than repeating like an LFO, so it suits ambient, lo-fi and experimental work.
