When to use it

Duoflux is the pick for layered, two-part modulation in one plugin, such as chorus on the sides and tremolo on the lows, or a different effect on loud and quiet passages. Compared with MicroShift and PhaseMistress, it covers many more effect types, but each one is less refined than those dedicated tools. Unlike ShaperBox 3 and LFO Tool, it is not built for tempo-synced rhythmic shaping; its focus is classic chorus, rotary, phaser and tremolo colour. Its tape section also adds saturation, wow and flutter, which MicroShift and PhaseMistress don't offer.

What producers say

Reviewers like its subtle, musical results, with some doubts about the quality of each single effect.
