When to use it

BRAAASS is the quickest way to action brass: fanfares, stabs and swells straight from held chords, with no brass writing needed. Compared with Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition or BBC Symphony Orchestra Core, it cannot play real brass lines with chosen articulations, but it delivers a finished Hollywood sound at once. It groups the brass into just two registers, which is simpler than picking instruments in a full library. Its effects push it well beyond orchestral use, into electronic and experimental tracks, which those libraries don't aim for.

What producers say

Reviewers find it fun and fast with a real Hollywood sound; the limits are in control rather than quality.
