What it does
A plugin with ten retro tone machines for saturation and effects, with simple controls for drive, tone and tape warble.
- Sound: the saturation and effects heard on hip-hop, lo-fi, electronic, rock and experimental tracks.
- Sources: demo tracks use drums, bass, drum machines, vocals, electric piano and synths.

When to use it
A creative colour tool rather than a faithful tape emulation, closer to RC-20 Retro Color (8.7) in spirit than to a mastering tape machine such as UA's Ampex ATR-102. Reach for it when you want lo-fi grit, tape warble and character on drums, synths and samples.
Suits hip-hop, lo-fi, electronic and experimental genres.
