What it does
UA's emulation of the Moog Minimoog Model D, developed with Moog Music using circuit-level modelling.
- Sound: oscillators and a ladder filter that can self-oscillate.
- Added mods: switchable note priority, legato, sample and hold, and an extra LFO.
- Feedback: feedback path for extra drive and grit.
- CPU: light load, so many instances can run at once.
- Availability: also on UAD Spark.

When to use it
A focused monosynth for classic basses, leads and fat analog tones. It is much simpler than a broad synth such as Diva or Serum 2, which is part of the appeal: few controls, quick results. Best for funk, synthwave, electronic, hip-hop and prog.
Where to buy
