What it does
A Brainworx-developed emulation of the Friedman Buxom Betty, a 50-watt, hand-wired, single-channel amp with dual EL34 tubes. UA says it mixes American combo warmth with British stack character.
- Controls: a three-position bright switch, high/low inputs and a responsive volume control from clean to overdrive.
- FX Rack: noise gate, high/low-pass filters, vintage delay and a power soak circuit.
- Recording chains: 100 cabinet and mic chains.
- Unison: models the input's impedance and circuit behaviour on Apollo interfaces.

When to use it
A versatile single-channel amp, from cleans through classic rock crunch to moderate gain. It is the most flexible pick among the Friedman amps here; take the BE-100/DS-40 collection for the high-gain end. Suits blues rock, rock and indie guitar.
