What it does
C-Axe is a real-time buzz and hum suppressor for guitar and bass, made by C-Suite Audio with CEDAR technology.
- Adaptive: removes unwanted frequencies as it hears them while trying to keep the tone of the instrument.
- One control: a single knob sets the frequency.
- Sources of noise: aimed at pickup hum, amp and grounding problems, and noise from nearby appliances; it can sit after pedals and effects.
- Tracking: near-zero latency when tracking through Apollo.

When to use it
A tracking-stage fix for noisy guitar signals, rather than an editing-stage restoration suite. If you need general clean-up of recorded audio, a broader tool is a better fit; C-Axe is for hum and buzz on guitar and bass as you record.
