An emulation of the API 2500 stereo bus compressor, developed with API's schematics and checked against two vintage units.
- Compression: Old and New modes (feedback or feed-forward response) and three knee options.
- Thrust: API's Thrust circuit for balancing frequency compression.
- Stereo: percentage-based L/R Link and Shape controls.
- Plugin extras: Mix control for parallel compression and a Headroom control.

When to use it
A punchy bus compressor for drum buses, mix buses and parallel compression. Compared with the SSL G-Master style of glue, the 2500 is more assertive, and the Thrust circuit is API's way of balancing how frequencies are compressed.
