Uhbik 2 is u-he's bundle of ten effects, with surround support up to 7.1.
- Effects: Ambience (reverb), Delay, Compressor, Runciter (a distorting filter), Equalizer, Grainshift (granular pitch shifting), Shifter (frequency shifter), Flanger, Phaser and Tremolo.
- Shared tools: a modulation matrix, LFOs, an envelope follower and a built-in oscilloscope.
- Upgrade: Uhbik 1 owners get version 2 free.
- Version: 2.0.0 (October 2025).
When to use it
Uhbik 2 is worth a look if you like u-he's sound and want a single set of modulation-heavy effects, especially for sound design and experimental work. Each effect is more of a creative tool than a polished single-purpose plugin, so for a top-tier reverb, EQ or compressor you may still prefer a dedicated plugin such as FabFilter.
- Best for: movement and modulation effects, frequency shifting and granular pitch effects.
