What it does
Repro models two classic analog synths at component level and comes as two instruments in one product.
- Repro-1: a monophonic synth with two multi-wave oscillators, a 4-pole resonant lowpass filter that self-oscillates, twin 32-step sequencers (64 steps chained), an arpeggiator with latch and 500+ presets.
- Repro-5: an 8-voice polyphonic version with unison, a polyphonic distortion unit (4 modes), individual voice panning, MPE support and 950+ presets.
- Effects: five stomp-box effects (wavefolder or tape emulation, delay/chorus, EQ/resonator, reverb and a sonic conditioner).
- Tuning: MTS-ESP microtuning.
The current version is 1.1.3.
When to use it
Repro is u-he's take on the classic Sequential sound: punchy mono leads and basses from Repro-1, and rich polyphonic pads and chords from Repro-5. It's more focused and easier to programme than Diva's multi-model approach or Hive 2, and suits players who want that vintage character quickly.
