Ganymede Visualizer by Tuneform

Ganymede Visualizer splits the audio into low, mid and high bands and draws each as its own animated, colour-controlled element, as a visual for showing music rather than a meter.

It runs as VST3, AU, AAX and CLAP on macOS and Windows and costs $29.

Best for: Mix Bus. Genres: all genres.

Keywords: audio visualizer, AAX, CLAP, resizable UI.

What it does

Ganymede is Tuneform's real-time visualizer for showing music, not measuring it: Tuneform calls it an "aesthetic" visualizer whose visuals follow the audio only loosely, and the audio passes through untouched.

The current version is 1.0.0. There is no video export: Tuneform suggests recording with OBS Studio or QuickTime Player.

When to use it

Ganymede Visualizer is the pick for a clean, minimal visual you can colour-match to a release. Compared with Sphere V3, it is simpler (three fixed bands instead of eight assignable modifiers) and has no recorder, so clips need screen capture; it costs less. Next to Photism or Visual Lab Pro it is a single look, not a library of scenes.
