When to use it

KrushPro is the pick for moving, sequenced digital distortion at a low price. Compared with Decimort 2 it is less about recreating a vintage sampler and more about modulated destruction, with ring modulation, frequency shifting and step sequencers built in. Next to Trash it is narrower, with no multiband splitting, but it puts step sequencers, LFOs and ring modulation in one compact rack. Bedroom Producers Blog found its filters basic, so Saturn 2 or Trash are better when you need detailed tone shaping alongside the crunch.

What producers say

Reviewers rate it as one of the best-value bitcrushers, with basic filters the main complaint.
