What it does

TL BaxEQ is a free shelving equaliser based on Peter Baxandall's 1950 tone-control circuit.

Shelves: separate low and high sections with a gain control each, described by ToneLib as wide, musical and low on phase shift.
Extras: edge-frequency cutting and an animated EQ curve display.

When to use it

Use it for broad, gentle tilts, such as adding air on top or warmth underneath, rather than surgical fixes. For detailed correction, a parametric EQ like FabFilter Pro-Q 4 is the better tool.
