What it does
Cenozoix Compressor is a multi-algorithm compressor from Three-Body Technology, sold through Plugin Alliance. Three-Body Technology describes it as covering the sound of 12 classic compressors plus 12 further algorithms.
- Algorithms: modern types such as Drum, Vocal, Bus and Mastering, alongside vintage-style models like Black FET, Blue FET, Vintage Opto and Virtual-Mu.
- Detection: peak and RMS detection, usable separately or in parallel, with a dynamic peak crest function that adapts the release to the input transients.
- Colour: odd and even harmonic generation and a drive stage.
- Sidechain EQ: shapes what the detector reacts to.
- Anti-aliasing: uses anti-derivative antialiasing to keep aliasing down without heavy oversampling.

When to use it
A good fit if you want one compressor that can act as an FET, opto or vari-mu style unit, or as a cleaner modern bus or mastering compressor, without loading several plugins. It suits mixing across most genres. If you already own a favourite emulation of one specific unit, the appeal here is the range and flexibility rather than a single faithful model.
