What it does

AI-Clarity is Techivation's "lightning-fast dynamic resonance suppressor powered by machine learning." It listens to a short section of the track, sets its own processing parameters, and then leaves you mainly one knob to turn.

Learn: analyses about 3.5 seconds of audio, ideally the busiest part of the track, and sets the processing to suit that material.
Clarity: the main control, setting how strongly the frequencies found during learning are suppressed.
Targets: muddiness, boxiness and harshness, with the aim of keeping perceived loudness intact.
Diff: plays only what is being removed, to check you aren't taking out too much.
Stereo modes: a toggle between Left-Right and Mid-Side processing.
Output and metering: transparent output gain, input and output meters, and an internal bypass designed to switch without clicks.
Workflow: undo/redo, tooltips and a UI scalable from 50 to 150%.

When to use it

AI-Clarity is the fastest of the resonance suppressors here: learn, then set one knob. Compared with soothe3 it gives up nearly all detailed control, with no band shaping, attack and release or sidechain, in exchange for speed. Techivation's own M-Clarity 2 costs the same but adds Intensity, Focus, attack, release and a frequency limit, so it is the better pick if you like to fine-tune. Against RESO, which also analyses the audio and suggests fixes, AI-Clarity hides the analysis and works as a continuous suppressor rather than a set of targeted bands.

Best for: quick cleanup of harsh, boxy or muddy vocals, guitars and loops when you don't want to tweak.
Genres: any.
Look elsewhere if: you want to choose which frequencies are treated or how fast it reacts; M-Clarity 2 or soothe3 are more flexible.
Tip: run Learn on the busiest section of the track, as Techivation advises, so the settings cover the loudest material.
