What it does
TBPAMove is a plugin "for creating rhythmic filter, gain and pan effects." It pairs two filters with eight modulators, and every filter parameter can be driven by DAW automation or by a modulator.
- Two filters: independent filters with resonance, cutoff, gain and pan controls, in types such as low pass, high pass, peak and shelf.
- Routing: the two filters run in serial or in parallel.
- Eight modulators: independent sources chosen from side-chain, LFO, step sequencer and multi-stage envelope generator.
- Targets: resonance, cutoff, gain and pan of each filter, for sweeps, gating, tremolo and auto-pan.
- Randomization: several options for randomizing the modulators.
- Display: a large oscilloscope showing the audio and the parameter envelopes, with zoom on both axes.
The current version is 1.1.5 (8 May 2026), with sample-accurate VST3 automation. The demo mutes audio every 90 seconds unless you click the TBProAudio logo.

When to use it
TBPAMove is a compact, low-cost rhythmic modulator built around two filters that each carry gain and pan. Compared with ShaperBox 3, it offers far fewer effect types, with no time, distortion or width modules, but it is cheaper and keeps everything in one simple filter-gain-pan chain. Compared with LFO Tool, it offers more modulation sources (side-chain, step sequencer and multi-stage envelopes as well as LFOs) and two filters that can run in serial or parallel. Unlike Duck 2 or Kickstart 2, which focus on side-chain ducking, it treats the side-chain as just one of several sources for filter, gain and pan movement.
- Best for: rhythmic filter sweeps, gating and tremolo, auto-pan, and side-chain-driven movement on pads, loops and drums.
- Genres: electronic music, hip-hop and pop production.
- Look elsewhere if: you want drawn shapes across many effect modules (ShaperBox 3) or quick, dedicated side-chain ducking (Kickstart 2 or Duck 2).
