ST1V2 is a simple stereo tool from TBProAudio for controlling the width and panorama of a stereo signal.

It has a mono-to-stereo converter, spectral panning, bass focus and phase and correlation meters, for €19 (about $22).

What it does

ST1V2 is TBProAudio's "simple tool" for setting the width and pan position of a stereo signal. It combines a mono-to-stereo function, a width control, a detailed pan knob and bass focus in one small plugin.

Width: variable stereo width for narrowing or widening, plus an adjustable mono-to-stereo converter.
Pan: an automatable pan knob with a variable pan law and spectral panning.
Bass focus: keeps the low frequencies centred while you widen or pan the rest.
Meters: a phase meter and a correlation meter that show pan position and width.
Workflow: preset management with included presets, a large freely scalable GUI, 64-bit processing and low CPU use.

The current version is 2.1.8 (updated May 2026). The demo mutes the audio briefly every 90 seconds.

When to use it

ST1V2 is a cheap, plain width-and-pan tool for single tracks and buses. Compared with Ozone Imager, it has no per-band width control, but it adds a proper pan knob with a variable pan law and spectral panning. Compared with Wider, which is built around mono-compatible widening, ST1V2 is more of a placement tool: it pans, sets width, keeps the bass centred and can turn a mono source into stereo. Its phase and correlation meters make it easy to check that a widened part still holds up. It is a low-cost pick for everyday width and pan jobs.

Best for: adjusting width and pan of stereo tracks, turning mono sources into stereo, and keeping bass mono.
Genres: any; it is a general mixing tool.
Look elsewhere if: you want per-band width or strong widening effects; Ozone Imager or Wider are built for that.
