What it does
TAL-EQ is a graphic equaliser with dynamic bands and an analog-modelled response, in TAL's words designed for good sound, a fast workflow and easy use.
- Sound: zero latency with no oversampling, with an analog-modelled frequency response and phase behaviour; bands run from 10 Hz to 30 kHz.
- Dynamic EQ: bands can act dynamically, with variable attack and release for ducking-style effects.
- Stereo options: stereo, mid/side and individual channel processing, plus phase invert and output pan.
- Interface: real-time spectrum analyser, multi-selection of bands, undo/redo, A/B comparison, adjustable colours and UI scale.
- Extras: MIDI learn and a topology-preserving filter that stays stable under modulation.
Version 1.2.9 has a one-time licence that includes free updates.

When to use it
A newer, general-purpose EQ with dynamic bands. It sits in the same space as Pro-Q 4 and TDR Nova, so it is worth trying if you want a spectrum-view EQ with dynamic bands and no latency.
- Best for: everyday mixing EQ on any source, and dynamic cuts or boosts on vocals and buses.
