What it does
Dialekt is Sugar Bytes' groovebox, sold under the tagline "Sounds to Go." It packs eight tracks of synths, drums and sampling into one plugin, built for sketching ideas fast and carrying them between a phone or iPad and the studio.
- 28 synth engines: eight tracks draw on synthesizers, drum engines and a sample slicer with recording.
- Sequencer: Sound per Step, rolls, trig conditions, and separate tempo and length per track.
- Song mode: a song sequencer with pattern repeats, FX and track mutes, plus a Song Randomizer that generates sequences, sounds, chord progressions and fills.
- Touch effects: eight performance effects: TapeStop, Filter-Delay, Reverb, Looper, Phaser, Chorus, LowPass and LoFi.
- Routing: MIDI triggering and single audio/MIDI outputs per track for mixing in the DAW.

When to use it
Dialekt is the pick when you want a whole groovebox, with melodic synth tracks, drums and slicing in one sequencer, and a randomizer to throw out ideas. It covers more than drum-focused beat tools such as Spark 2 and XO, but goes less deep on synthesized drum sound design than Sugar Bytes' own DrumComputer, and it is less suited than Serato Sample if chopping samples is the main job.
- Best for: sketching beats and full loops quickly, generating ideas with the randomizer, and moving projects between mobile and desktop.
- Genres: electronic, hip-hop, lo-fi and other loop-based styles.
- Look elsewhere if: you need a detailed sampler or realistic acoustic drums.
