Best for: Vocals, Drums, Mix Bus. Genres: all genres.

What it does
ControlHub is STL Tones' mixing platform. It loads whole signal chains modelled on the setups of mix engineers and studios, and lets you tweak or save your own.
- Chains: STL says the library holds more than 3,000 mixing chains, sold as expansions from engineers such as Mark Rankin, Cameron Webb and Will Putney.
- Modules: EQ, compression, saturation, limiting, delay and reverb in one window, with real-time frequency display.
- Your own chains: capture your own hardware or software setups as presets, and share them for royalties.

When to use it
ControlHub suits people who want a producer's vocal, drum or bass chain as a starting point rather than building one plugin at a time. It works like ToneHub does for guitar, but for mixing.
- Best for: quick mix starting points, and learning how a chain is put together by opening it up.
- Look elsewhere if: you prefer choosing individual plugins yourself, or don't want a subscription.
