What it does
Albion Colossus is a large hybrid library for film, TV and game scoring, combining two orchestras with drums, guitars and synths.
- Two orchestras: a chamber orchestra (42 players) and a symphony orchestra (111 players), with a Scale control to crossfade between them.
- Sections: strings, brass, woodwinds, horns, flutes, piccolos, percussion, acoustic drums, electric guitars, drum machines and synthesizers, with about 150 techniques (995 with the eDNA content update).
- Controls: Depth (close to ambient mixes) and Hype, which adds production processing.
- Extras: Evo Grid mode with string, brass, woodwind and granular evolutions; 10 altered drum kits designed by Snakes of Russia; heavy guitars re-amped in a concert hall.
- Player: Spitfire's own plugin.

When to use it
The most orchestral-plus-rock/electronic of the Albion series, with drums, guitars and synths alongside the players, so a trailer-style or hybrid cue can be built from one library. If you want the orchestra only, Albion ONE or Abbey Road One is more focused. Suits trailers, action film and game music.
