What it does
Little PrimalTap is a stripped-down version of PrimalTap, the retro digital delay inspired by the 1978 Prime Time hardware unit.
- Multiply: extends delay time while halving the sample rate for a grittier tone.
- Adjust: pitch shifting, chorus and flange effects.
- Feedback and drive: feedback can sustain indefinitely for looping; input drive shapes the character.
- Compared with PrimalTap: the full plugin adds dual delay lines, an LFO, multiple algorithms and Freeze.
- Availability: included with PrimalTap and Soundtoys 5; not sold on its own.

When to use it
A simple lo-fi digital delay for warped, pitchy echoes and loops. Choose the full PrimalTap if you want Freeze, dual delays or modulation. For a clean or tape-style everyday delay, EchoBoy is the usual choice.
