What it does

Satson is a Sonimus console emulation for channels and buses, modelled on a British SSL-style desk, adding analog-style drive and summing character.

Saturation: Normal (subtle) and Fat (hotter) modes, which can be switched off for metering only.
Filters: simple high-pass and low-pass.
Buss version: adds a LOUD switch for air and punch, and grouping lets one master instance control the rest.

When to use it

Satson is the SSL-flavoured counterpart to the Neve-style Britson. Sonimus has replaced it with S-Console, so it is mainly of interest to existing users.

Best for: light saturation and gain staging on every channel.
Genres: pop, rock and electronic.
