What it does
SpringVerb is "vintage spring reverb with SSL control," modeling the physical behavior of classic spring tanks.
- Tanks: three spring tank types (A, B and C) based on hardware units, with single, double or triple springs for density.
- Spring Tension: sets how tight the springs are, changing the decay character and twang.
- Tone and drive: input drive and saturation with an LED indicator, plus separate high and low damping.
- Space: stereo width from mono to over 100%, and pre-delay with tempo sync.
- Extras: an interactive animated spring tank, a Boing button for resonance bursts, and a Mix control with preset lock.

When to use it
Pick SpringVerb for a low-cost spring with a choice of tanks, adjustable tension and wide stereo options, rather than Softube Spring Reverb, UAD AKG BX 20 Spring Reverb and Arturia Rev SPRING-636, which model specific spring units, or u-he Twangström, a synthesized spring.
- Best for: guitars, surf and dub effects, vintage vocals and keys.

- Look elsewhere if: you want a specific vintage tank modeled in depth; the AKG BX 20 is a dedicated emulation.
