Acoustifier by Solid State Logic

A D.I.-to-mic simulation plugin that makes a dry acoustic guitar D.I. sound like a stereo microphone recording.

It pairs guitar body and mic modeling with built-in SSL EQ, compression and reverb, so it works as a complete acoustic guitar chain.

Best for: Guitars, Acoustic Instruments. Genres: Rock & Indie, Pop, Jazz, Acoustic & Classical.

Keywords: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, built-in analyzer, hardware emulation, built-in mix knob, mixing, orchestra, oversampling.

What it does

Acoustifier is SSL's D.I.-to-mic plugin for acoustic guitar. It emulates a dual-microphone studio setup so D.I. recordings, live feeds or tracks captured without good mics sound like a professionally recorded stereo acoustic.

The current version is 1.0.18 (1.0.19 on Windows), with a 14-day free trial.

When to use it

Acoustifier is aimed at one job: turning an acoustic D.I. into a mic'd sound. Unlike Antares Mic Mod and IK Multimedia Mic Room, which change the character of an existing mic signal, it models a guitar body from a pickup. Pick Acoustifier when your only source is an acoustic pickup or D.I. and you want a stereo, mix-ready result with EQ, compression and reverb in one plugin.
