What it does

A de-esser with two independent bands, made with Weiss Engineering using algorithms from the DS1-MK3.

Two bands: each with ratio, attack, release, knee, makeup gain, frequency and bandwidth.
Display: real-time FFT with the filter shape shown, and adjustable filter shapes.
Modes: low-latency tracking mode. Console 1 compatible.

When to use it

A transparent de-esser for vocals, instruments and mastering, and the two bands let you treat two sibilance ranges at once. It is also part of the DS1-MK3 package and Weiss Complete Collection 3.
