What it does
A component-modelled, officially licensed emulation of the 1967 Plexi, a museum amp. Softube models each component so the amp responds to playing dynamics.

- Channel strip: pan, fader and solo per mic and a two-band master EQ.
- Presets: over 50, by Tony Platt.
- Cabinet: a 1960BHW recorded at Kore Studios.
- standalone plugin or an Amp Room module. Also in the Amp Room Marshall Suite.
When to use it
The classic rock sound, and the best fit for early hard rock and blues. For a more modern, high-gain sound, see the JMP 2203 or Silver Jubilee.
