Keywords: drum machine, analog-sounding.
What it does
A drum machine with synthesized analog-modelled sounds.
- Channels: eight drum channels.
- Mixer: volume, EQ, effect sends and pan per channel.
- Auto Layer Machine: four channels for layering sounds or triggering beat patterns, with a Chaos slider for randomness.
- Effects: TSAR-1 Reverb, Valley People Dyna-mite, Filter Echo and output saturation.
- Modular: instrument and EQ modules also work in Softube Modular.
When to use it
A synthesized drum machine, not a sample player: the sounds are made from analog-style circuits, so it suits electronic, hip-hop, synth-pop and techno beats.
