What it does
Murda Melodies is a creative multi-effect for mangling melodies, developed with producer Murda Beatz; Slate calls it "the ultimate mangler".
- Effects: eight effect knobs covering modulation, reverb, synced delays, reverses and more.
- Pitch: a built-in pitch shifter with a range of plus or minus four octaves, a Pitch Jitter control for nonlinear artefacts, and a balance between shifted and original pitch.
- Presets: over 50 by Murda Beatz and other sound designers.

When to use it
A fast way to turn a plain loop, sample or synth melody into something warped and atmospheric, without building a chain of separate effects. Best for trap, hip-hop and modern pop melodies.
If you want a clean, controllable effect, single-purpose reverbs and delays give you more precision.
