Further is a transparent-sounding reverb from Sixth Sample with a built-in panner that places sounds anywhere around the listener.

What it does
Further is a reverb with a built-in panner, made to "make audio sound further away" and place it in the stereo field in one step. Sixth Sample describes it as straightforward and transparent-sounding.

When to use it
Further is the pick when you want to place a part and give it space in one quick move. Compared with Valhalla Room and FabFilter Pro-R 2, it has far fewer controls, four sliders and three modes, but its built-in 360-degree panner does positioning neither of them offers. LiquidSonics Cinematic Rooms is the deeper choice for detailed, realistic spaces, at a much higher price. Compared with Valhalla Supermassive, Further stays natural and transparent rather than going for huge special-effect washes.
- Best for: placing vocals and instruments in a believable space with little tweaking, and pushing parts back in a busy mix.

- Look elsewhere if: you want detailed decay and EQ control (Pro-R 2), modelled hardware character (VintageVerb) or lush ambient effects (Supermassive).
