What it does
StandardGATE is SIR Audio Tools' gate for removing noise and spill and for shaping dynamics creatively.
- Detection modes: classic Peak and RMS, plus Percussive and Transient modes for drums and other sharp sources.
- Three uses: noise gate, ducker and upward expander, with attack, hold, release and ratio controls.
- Sidechain: internal sidechain with de-bleeding filters, external sidechain input and MIDI triggering.
- Visualiser: shows the signal and the gate's response.

When to use it
