What it does
Naturaliser 2 adds small random changes to any sound, so loops and programmed parts drift like a live performance.
- Four dimensions: spectral (timbre), transient (envelope), colour (tone) and noise motion.
- Controls: Amount, Strength (up to 5x), Speed/Swing and a Smooth control that turns stepped changes into flowing ones.
- Noise: Smart Noise with Pink, White and Velvet flavours and a filter.
- Detection: an advanced transient-aware Detect mode and solo buttons for each dimension.

When to use it
A humanising tool for sample-based and programmed music, where repeating hits and loops can sound static. It works subtly across the whole sound rather than shifting timing or velocity like a MIDI humaniser.
- Best for: drum machines, sample loops, synth arps and sequenced parts.
- Genres: electronic, hip-hop, lo-fi and house.
Where to buy
- Rast Sound: $55.64 (regular $89.70) (Listed at €49 (regular €79); converted at €1 = $1.1355 (ECB rate, 29 Sep 2026))
