When to use it
Cusp works like the classic attack/sustain transient shapers (SPL Transient Designer, Kilohearts Transient Shaper) but adds the colour stage so you can shape and saturate in one step. Mid/side operation is handy for tightening the centre while leaving the sides alone.
- Best for: drums, percussion, guitars and bass where you want punch or a tighter tail.
- Genres: any; especially drum-heavy pop, hip-hop, rock and electronic.
Where to buy
- Rast Sound: $44.28 (regular $89.70) (Listed at €39 (regular €79); converted at €1 = $1.1355 (ECB rate, 29 Sep 2026))
