A stompbox-style modulated filter with a resonant filter that morphs smoothly between low-pass, band-pass and high-pass, driven by an LFO, an envelope follower or both.

What it does
PSP stompFilter is a modulated filter built for a wide range of filter and gain effects, from classic auto-wah to rhythmic sweeps.
- Filter: a resonant filter that morphs smoothly between low-pass, band-pass and high-pass, with 12 and 24 dB/oct slopes.
- Modulation: an LFO with adjustable randomisation for an analog feel, an envelope detector, and cross-modulation between them.
- Compressor: built in, for evening out the signal before or around the filter.

When to use it
A good choice for envelope filter and auto-wah sounds on guitar, bass and clavinet-style keys, and for LFO sweeps on synths and drum loops.
