A customisable metering plugin and standalone app with LUFS, true peak, RMS, VU, spectrum, histogram, phase scope and stereo displays that you arrange into your own layouts.
Free iOS and Android companion apps mirror the meters over Wi-Fi, so the meters can sit on a phone or tablet instead of the main screen. It supports layouts up to 7.1.4 and offline file analysis.

Decibel is a metering plugin built around customisable layouts.
- Meters: LUFS, digital peak, true peak, RMS, VU, spectrum analyzer, histogram, phase scope and stereo displays, plus a combined "Super Meter" and target validators.
- Mobile displays: free iOS and Android apps show live meters over Wi-Fi.
- Analysis: loudness logging up to 24 hours and fast offline analysis of files, with reports.
- Formats: up to Dolby Atmos 7.1.4; broadcast standards such as EBU R128, ATSC A/85 and Netflix.

When to use it
Decibel suits engineers who want to build their own meter bridge, or move meters onto a phone or tablet to free up screen space. For a quick loudness check Youlean is simpler; for a fixed all-in-one suite, Insight 2 is the better-known choice.
