What it does
OSL Multi Chorus is Oblivion Sound Lab's four-in-one chorus, built to "instantly add thickness and width to any source." Each mode is inspired by a classic hardware or synth chorus and keeps its own settings.
- Sixty: modeled on the onboard chorus of the Juno-60 synth.
- Studio: inspired by the Dimension D rack chorus, for subtle, wide doubling.
- Ensemble: a topology of three phase-rotated delay lines, in the style of classic string-machine ensembles.
- Quad: four delay lines, inspired by the VP-330 vocoder/string synth ensemble.
- Stereo tools: mid/side stereo widening, left/right output meters and a phase meter to check mono compatibility.
- Workflow: independent parameters per mode, copy and paste of settings between modes, 77 factory presets and full DAW automation.
- CPU: the developer describes it as light on CPU.
The current version is 1.0.1 (released 1 March 2024, updated 11 March 2024). The trial outputs a short silence every 45 seconds. A PDF manual is available.

When to use it
OSL Multi Chorus is the pick when you want several vintage chorus flavours in one plugin for a modest price. Compared with Arturia's Chorus JUN-6 and Chorus DIMENSION-D, which each model a single unit, it covers the Juno and Dimension styles plus two string-ensemble modes in one window. Eventide's TriceraChorus is built around a lush tri-chorus with vibrato and more sound-design range, while OSL Multi Chorus stays closer to the classic units. TAL-Chorus-LX does the Juno chorus for free, so the extra modes and mid/side widening are what you pay for here.
- Best for: vintage chorus and ensemble sounds on synths, pads, guitars and vocals, and quickly comparing Juno, Dimension and ensemble textures.
- Genres: electronic, synth-pop, ambient and cinematic.
- Look elsewhere if: you only need a Juno chorus; the developer's free OSL Chorus or TAL-Chorus-LX covers that. For a closely modeled Dimension D, try Chorus DIMENSION-D or UAD's Studio D Chorus.
