What it does

Liquid Phase is Nomad Factory's classic phaser, aimed at "warm, swirling motion" on keys, guitars and vocals. It is part of the rebuilt Liquid Bundle III and keeps the control set short.

Three circuit sizes: 4-stage, 8-stage and 12-stage phaser modes. Fewer stages give a gentler sweep; more stages give deeper, more pronounced notches.
Speed: sets how fast the phaser sweeps.
Depth: sets how far the sweep travels and how strong the effect is.
Manual: a phase offset that can be used for static, filter-like tones rather than a moving sweep.
Stereo Spread: widens the effect by offsetting the left and right sides.
Interface: resizable, with dark and light themes, on Plugivery's newer framework.

The current version, Liquid Phase III, was released on 27 October 2025. The developer's page doesn't mention a demo. It is also part of the Liquid Bundle and the Integral Studio Pack.

When to use it

Liquid Phase is the simpler pick when you want a classic phaser sweep quickly, with a choice of 4, 8 or 12 stages and a manual offset. Compared with Soundtoys PhaseMistress, it has far fewer phaser styles and no envelope following or rhythmic LFO shapes. Unlike Output Portal or Cableguys ShaperBox 3, it is a single-purpose effect rather than a multi-effect modulation tool. Against Eventide Instant Flanger Mk II, it gives a phaser's softer notches rather than a flanger's jet sound.

Best for: phaser sweeps on electric pianos, clean and crunchy guitars, synth pads and backing vocals, plus static phase colour using the Manual control.
Genres: R&B, hip-hop, pop and electronic music, as the developer suggests; also funk and rock guitar.
Look elsewhere if: you want envelope-following or many phaser styles (PhaseMistress) or rhythmic, multi-effect movement (ShaperBox 3 or Portal).
