What it does

Liquid Mod is Nomad Factory's three-in-one modulation effect, covering chorus, flanger and vibrato in a single plugin. It belongs to the rebuilt Liquid Bundle III and is aimed at "vintage-inspired modulation effects" for modern pop, R&B, hip-hop and electronic music.

Chorus: thickens and widens a source with short modulated delays, for guitars, keys and backing vocals.
Flanger: sweeping comb-filter effects; the Feedback control makes them more resonant.
Vibrato: pitch wobble with no dry signal mixed in, for a warbly, tape-like movement.
Depth, Rate and Feedback: set how strong, how fast and how resonant the modulation is.
Stereo Width: spreads the effect across the stereo field, from narrow to wide.
Tempo sync: locks the modulation rate to the host tempo, so sweeps line up with the track.
Interface: a fully resizable vector interface.

The current version, Liquid Mod III, was released on 27 October 2025. The developer's page doesn't mention a demo. It is also part of the Liquid Bundle and the Integral Studio Pack.

When to use it

Liquid Mod is a good fit when you want one plugin that covers chorus, flanger and vibrato with a few knobs, rather than a faithful copy of a specific box. Compared with Arturia Chorus DIMENSION-D or Chorus JUN-6, it is more general and less tied to one classic sound, but it also adds flanging and vibrato. Unlike Eventide TriceraChorus, it has no multi-voice tri-chorus design, and TAL-Chorus-LX is the more focused pick if you only want Juno-style chorus; Liquid Mod suits users who want all three effects in one place, especially as part of the Liquid Bundle.

Best for: widening clean guitars and electric pianos, flanging drum loops or synth pads, and adding vibrato to keys and vocals.
Genres: R&B, hip-hop, pop and electronic, as the developer suggests; also indie and rock guitar work.
Look elsewhere if: you want a specific hardware chorus (Chorus DIMENSION-D, Chorus JUN-6, Studio D Chorus), a lush multi-voice chorus (TriceraChorus) or a deep flanger (Eventide Instant Flanger Mk II).

Coverage is thin; the one user review found covers the earlier Liquid Mod II and sees it as a solid, easy, low-CPU tool rather than a standout.

Audiofanzine user (Liquid Mod II, 2010): rated it 8 out of 10, calling it a "solid chorus/flanger plug-in" that is easy to learn without the manual and light on CPU.
Criticisms: the reviewer said it is not especially unique and lacks the warmth of some alternatives.
